TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
