TabTrade - What Traders Should Know
The Broker - What It IsTabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker. His background tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace. The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice. What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is broad. The SoftwareThey offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.CostsThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume. How Fast Are the FillsThe execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.RegulationHere is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there. That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into your assessment. The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.Deposit BonusTab Trade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit. The complete breakdown, including the full fee table, withdrawal policies, and tabtrade review regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
